Community guidelines are our compass for cultivating a safe and respectful space. By following these guidelines, we build a supportive environment where meaningful discussions and mutual respect thrive.

1. Respect and Kindness Come First

Treat every member with respect and kindness. We’re here to support, uplift, and learn from each other. Diverse opinions are welcome, but personal attacks, hate speech, bullying, and harassment are strictly prohibited.

2. Keep It Professional

Maintain professionalism in line with your workplace policies if your membership is provided by your employer. Remember, our community is a place to discuss mental health in a constructive manner, not a platform for venting workplace grievances.

3. Positive and Constructive Dialogue

Engage in conversations that contribute positively to mental health awareness, education, and support. While sharing personal experiences is encouraged, avoid turning discussions into negative spaces.

4. No Medical Advice or Diagnosis

This community is not a substitute for professional medical advice or therapy. Please refrain from providing medical diagnoses, treatment suggestions, or therapy recommendations. If you need help, consult a mental health professional.

5. Mind Your Language and Content

Avoid using offensive, inappropriate, or explicit language. Content that is discriminatory, offensive, or explicit will be removed.

6. Protect Privacy

Respect the privacy of fellow community members. Don’t share personal or sensitive information about others without their explicit consent.

7. Quality Over Quantity

Prioritize quality over quantity in your contributions. Share thoughtful insights and information that can genuinely benefit the community.

8. Share Responsibly

When sharing content, ensure it is relevant, accurate, and respectful. Avoid spreading false information or clickbait.

9. Seek Permission for Sharing

If you want to share content or experiences from fellow members outside this community, ask for their permission first. Always give credit when due.

10. Reporting Inappropriate Behavior

If you come across any posts or comments that violate these guidelines, please report them to the moderators. Let’s work together to maintain a safe and supportive environment.

11. No Promotion of Services or Business Ventures

This community is dedicated to fostering genuine connections, sharing experiences, and supporting one another on our mental health journeys. Please refrain from promoting any services, products, or business ventures within the community. Let’s keep our discussions focused on mutual support and learning without the distraction of promotional content.

Remember, this community is what we make of it. Let’s create a space that supports mental health awareness, growth, and understanding. Thank you for being a part of Mental Health Friends Ignite!
